It’s Halloween, and when you think of Halloween you think of witches, of course.
I’ve been thinking about law enforcement in a modern-magical world, and I
thought I’d design a little uniform. Cloaks are a bit too cumbersome, but I think
a mantle works pretty well and still has that witch’s flair. I thought about
making her hat have the little dimples like the campaign hats
that the Mounties wear, though I don’t know if it looks too good on a witch hat.
I’m thinking about doing some worldbuilding, incorporating this uniform into that world.
Not for any particular reason, mind you, just building a world for its own sake.
I used to play NationStates, and most of my worldbuilding used to be for that.
I kind of miss having a sense of purpose to it, though not enough to go play
NationStates again.
While drawing this, I remembered Key and Peele’s Inner City Wizard School
sketch and the wand with the silencer on it. I really love that bit. If this
became a real show, I would watch it religiously.
