Vendonurse

I was commissioned to draw the personification of the Nurse vending machine in the Vending Machines Mod for Terraria. The mod lets you turn any NPC into a vending machine tile that can be placed anywhere.

The story behind it is this: a mutual friend of the person who requested this of me is a regular reader of the r/terraria subreddit, and for some reason, he’s quite sick of all the saucy fanart of the Nurse and the Dryad that’s often posted there. Myself, the requester, and this mutual friend discussed it over a game of modded Terraria with the Vending Machines Mod, and the requester comes up with this idea as satire: sexy fanart of the Nurse Vending Machine.

One or two years after that playthrough (I think), I started to take art commissions and, since the idea of the Vendonurse had been stuck in the requester’s mind the entire time, this commission was born.
